bad news days come from out of the blue they trample on you remember yourself five minutes ago and what you did not know

everything was bright and happy where you were a word on a day turned it suddenly grey and left me to wonder checking the dials and contrasting colorless cloud you're left under you are still alive in my head you will be alive until i hear differently

could there be more bad news days lined at my door? i look through the blinds but they just won't go away

i turn out the lights but they just won't go away bad news days flood and steal all your blood and leave you to wander blinding you with the most beautiful dawn that's fine for another bad news stays alive in my head but i'll stave it off until i hear differently
